Hawzah News Agency- Speaking to Al-Masirah television network, Mansour said Riyadh, shocked by rapid battlefield developments, has resorted to spreading lies, incitement, and attempts to fuel military and security tensions.
He explained that the Yemeni nation, as has always been the case, rose to the occasion and did not wait long to respond to what he described as "Saudi lies." Various segments of the Yemeni state and society — from scholars and political currents and Ansarullah's political bureau to the government, parliament, and the Shura Council — moved in a unified stance.
Mansour noted that Yemen's response to the Saudi narrative was not limited to political and popular dimensions. After Saudi escalation and attempts to target the Yemeni capital, Sana'a, it extended to the military domain. The response was decisive and sent a clear message to Riyadh that any escalation by Saudi Arabia would be met with a response targeting Saudi interests and installations.
The deputy information minister pointed out that developments following the Saudi escalation carried clear military messages, accompanied by warning sirens in a number of Saudi cities and regions, including Yanbu, Taif, Jeddah, AlUla, Khamis Mushait, Jizan, and Abha, as well as sirens sounding in Riyadh — reflecting the scale of tension created by the new military equation.
He stated that Saudi Arabia has been mired in multiple deadlocks since the start of its criminal aggression against Yemen, and recent developments on the western coast have deepened that deadlock. Riyadh suffered a heavy blow following the rapid collapse of a project in which it had bet on that front.
He added that the main surprise was the speed of battlefield developments, coupled with military discipline and the rapid restoration of normal conditions, which defeated all of Saudi Arabia's calculations for prolonged field developments.
Mansour noted that what happened on the western coast revealed the level of readiness and discipline of the armed forces and relevant institutions, as well as the speed with which government institutions dealt with the developments — preventing hostile parties from exploiting the events or turning them into widespread chaos.
He stated that Western media attention to the western coast developments reflects the significance of the event, and Saudi Arabia has been unable to bear the consequences of this blow, so it has resorted to trying to divert attention from the battlefield through new narratives and lies.
Mansour addressed the "lie" about targeting Mecca, describing it as part of efforts to distract from the western coast developments. The security operation that Yemeni security agencies thwarted in the capital, Sana'a, was carried out as part of attempts to create unrest and destabilize the internal atmosphere.
Mansour also spoke about information regarding Saudi attempts to reach armed groups linked to the "takfiri and criminal Daesh (ISIS)." He noted that although Damascus is said to have rejected these demands, this does not mean individual attempts to move outside official frameworks do not exist.
He stressed that Yemen's response to the Saudi campaign has been at multiple levels — official, popular, political, and military — and Sana'a has dealt with these developments as part of a broader effort to harm internal stability and disrupt the existing atmosphere after the western coast developments.
The deputy information minister sent a message to Arab and Islamic regimes that have accepted or engaged with the Saudi narrative, calling on them to reconsider their positions and calculations. Yemen insists on its options and beliefs, and efforts to pressure it through airstrikes or incitement to security unrest will not achieve their goals. Sana'a is monitoring escalation paths and dealing with them based on existing deterrence equations.
He linked Saudi military escalation with political maneuvers, referring to what has been said about Saudi efforts to obtain advanced American F-35 fighter jets, alongside Riyadh's moves toward China to request mediation in a de-escalation path.
He described this contradiction as reflecting Saudi Arabia's state of confusion between the path of escalation and the path of seeking calm. He added that recent developments once again confirmed that Saudi escalation cannot go unanswered, and Sana'a now deals with all types of military, security, and political pressure within a single equation — one aimed at protecting Yemen's decision and preventing the country from becoming an open arena for foreign projects.
